How we make, record and publish decisions

The PCC has an obligation to ensure that decision making is open and transparent and accords with the principles of good governance.

The Police and Crime Panel has the ability to review and scrutinise key decisions made by the PCC and deadline dates for decisions relating to the setting of the budget and council tax precept.

Different levels of decisions exist. The PCC is required to publish key decisions on their website. This is done as decisions are made, together with supporting information as appropriate, on a standard decision making form.
